About Us

Humane Africa Mission responds to humanitarian crises in Uganda and is a national humanitarian actor that has been providing health services in the Lango subregion, Acholi and part of West Nile region for the last 10 years. We help and deliver the much needed assistance to those whose lives are disrupted by disaster and conflict to restore their hope and get back to self-reliance through productive and sustainable livelihood.

HAM works to combine its efforts in collaboration with the ministry of health, office of the prime minister, ministry of water and environment, for projects that enhance the capacity to reach the most vulnerable.

Our programming focus is on equitable access and utilisation of direct primary and secondary health care services and community capacity strengthening to restore hope for the future. We work to improve the quality of life of the displaced populations and their hosting communities through synergistic alliances for better education, environment and health care services
